Antalya is home to the former civilizations Pamphylia and Lycia - the land of all peoples and the land of light. The art treasures of this epoch, whose magnificence still shines to this day, are the heritage from the roots of thousands of different civilizations. Mainly in the 19th century, the most impressive works of the ancient world were used to enrich the museums of Western metropolises such as London, Vienna, Berlin, Athens and Washington. After much effort by the Turkish Ministries and civilian initiatives, some of these treasures returned to their place of origin and are now on display in the museums of the Antalya region.
Cultural heritage unfolds its beauty only in its native lands ....
